First Day of school was great!
Ethan was excited and has an excellent teacher this year...Mrs. Patti.
But...that same day we had a check up at the dentist....he did great...no new cavities...just some repairs that we had to do the NEXT day
Result: 5 teeth pulled...one cavity filled....4 teeth sealed. Made for one not so happy boy and a mother who felt horrible. "My teeth are gone...is there a hole in my cheek...I can't feel my lips...I can't smile.."
The doc and ortho said it was needed to make room for the adult teeth pushing their way through.....that was supposed to make me feel better...right....
Thankfully he is back to normal now and the tooth fairy is bringing something special. He just has a few craters in his mouth. Yuck....Whew!
