Gingerbread Kid Caper 2nd Grade

Attended a wonderful production by the 2nd grade tonight....

Ethan even had a speaking part...he did great!  Thanks to Mrs. Patti and all the teachers.  So fun!

Lost Dog & Emergency Surgery

My parents were in town helping fix up a few things.....the dog escaped...this time for hours.  It was almost dark before we noticed she was gone.  Ethan was "bawling his eyes out".  So we made up fliers hoping someone would grab her before the coyotes did.  

So we had a garage sale the next day....got rid of a half garage worth of stuff and are now able to park one of our cars in the garage....its a Christmas miracle.  And then another miracle....the dog was found and brought back to us.  It was a great weekend.....parents went home and that was that.  

So Sunday I started feeling sick...then Monday night drove to the ER and had emergency gall bladder surgery the next day.  I waited in the FREAKIN' ER for 1 hour and 45 minutes before they gave me Morphine.   Scott's arm was bruised by the end.  So here's some sick pics of some of the staples and the IV.  

So mom came back to help and I ruined Thanksgiving for the Utah siblings.  Sorry guys.  Quite an event filled few weeks I'd say.  I don't think the money we earned from the garage sale is going to cover the hospital bills.  Oh well.  And I still have staples in me until Monday...yuck.
